Habakkuk 2:16-18

¹⁶ “You will be filled with disgrace rather than honor.
Now you yourself ^(A)drink and ^[a]expose your own nakedness.
The ^(B)cup in the Lord’s right hand will come around to you,
And ^(C)utter disgrace will come upon your glory.
¹⁷ “For the ^(D)violence ^[b]done to Lebanon will ^[c]overwhelm you,
And the devastation of its beasts ^[d]by which you terrified them,
^(E)Because of human bloodshed and ^(F)violence ^[e]done to the land,
To the town and all its inhabitants.

¹⁸ “What ^(G)profit is the ^[f]idol when its maker has carved it,
Or ^[g]an image, a ^(H)teacher of falsehood?
For its maker ^(I)trusts in his own handiwork
When he fashions speechless idols.
